Indian actress and model Neha Shetty mostly works in the Telugu and Kannada film industries. On December 6, 1994, she was born in Mangaluru, Karnataka. She completed her private schooling at Sophia High School before moving to Bangalore to begin her undergraduate studies. She finished both modeling and her schooling in Bangalore. She always knew that she wanted to be an actress. She participated in the Miss Mangaluru beauty pageant in 2014 while modeling, where she defeated contestants from all across the city to win the title. She gained notoriety after winning this beauty contest, and in 2015, she competed in the Miss South India beauty contest.
She was the first runner-up in this serial as well thanks to her beauty, beating other contestants from different states. Neha is an excellent dancer as well; she studied with renowned fashion choreographer MS Sridhar. She made her acting debut in the 2016 Kannada film Mungaru Male 2, in which she played the role of Nandini. She then appeared in the 2018 Telugu film Mehbooba by Puri Jagannath. She portrayed the young student Afreen in this film. She traveled to the US to study drama at the New York Film Academy in order to gain more acting variety.
