Wamiqa Gabbi is an Indian actress, dancer, and model who mainly works in Hindi, Telugu, and Punjabi films. She was born on 29 September 1993 in Chandigarh, Punjab. Her father was a famous scriptwriter of Punjabi Govardhan Gabbi and her mother Raj Kumari is an Educationist and her brother Hardik Puran Gabbi. She finished School at Chandigarh’s St Xavier’s and graduated from the College of DAV in Chandigarh Punjab.

Wamiqa Gabbi started her career in acting debut as a child artist in Punjabi television serials. She had an appearance in the 2009 film Love Aaj Kal. In 2013, she made her acting debut in the Punjabi movie Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22. She made her Bollywood acting debut in the same year, playing Tanisha in the film Sixteen. In 2016, she made her film debut in the Tamil movie Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam. In 2015, Wamiqa made her acting debut in the Telugu film Bhale Manchi Roju.

In 2017, Gabbi launched her career in the Malayalam film Godha. She has acted in a number of movies, including Nadhoo Khan, Parahuna, Bittoo Boss, Mausam, and Bittoo Boss. In Punjabi films like Ishq Brandy, Ishq Haazir Hai, and Nikka Zaildar, Gabbi has made appearances. In 2019, she appeared in the Punjabi movie Dil Diyan Gallan with Parmish Verma. She portrayed Amberdeep Kaur in the 2020 Punjabi movie Galwakdi.
